What is Power Flushing?
Power Flushing involves forcibly cleansing a heating system using high velocity, low pressure water. The process can be made even more effective with the addition of powerful cleansing products and as the pressure applied is low there is no damage to the system.
Why should I Power Flush a heating system?
Many heating systems suffer poor circulation and boiler noise caused by years of sludge, deposit and scale, traditional flushing methods simply don't get rid of all the debris and these problems more often than not quickly return.
Modern high efficiency, compact boilers, have been developed to reduce fuel costs and pollution, which can make them more susceptible to problems caused by debris in the system water.
Debris is often dislodged when making alterations to a system and the increased efficiency of the new boiler, and may then accumulate in the boiler heat exchanger, causing noisy operation, reduced efficiency and, in extreme circumstances, failure of the boiler.
